you don’t want the figure to be above 2 or 3 (mine is set at max and it’s a bit low)

for dump1090-mutability edit the file /etc/default/dump1090-mutability

use commands
sudo nano /etc/default/dump1090-mutability

sudo service dump1090-mutability restert

Peter, I’ve tried putting in this command into my Pi cat /var/log/dump1090-mutability.log to see what my figures are but it says No such file or directory.

I’m using the PiAware image in my Pi2

Both options are less than half the price of filters available elsewhere. We’re selling these at cost to help improve ADS-B reception for the community.

They have SMA connectors (male and female), pass 980-1150MHz with an impedance of 50ohms and insertion less of <2.5dB.

Yes he also opened a case with ebay and requested full refund which we will issue once he confirms his shipping address.

If you’re in an urban environment and/or near other RF activity, particularly cell phones, it’s probably helpful.

I just got the FA filter in the mail. I got it hooked up. So we will see if it helps out pretty good. I would say it looks very well made.

Looking to see where people are installing the FA filter at? I have mine installed at the USB Dongle, using 6 inch pigtail from the dongle to the filter. Where is the best place to install the FA filter?

I might order a connector that I can plug straight into the dongle and screw right into the filter. So i can remove the jumper. I hooked the filter up yesterday afternoon. Today was my lowest number that I had in a month. Hope my numbers don’t drop everyday.

I think someone ask this question before, but to be safe i’ll ask again. Does it matter which way the filter is installed? I think from what I remember it doesn’t.
