Any guesses as to why most of the enroute flights to DEN, BOI, PDX, and SEA are showing up as delayed?
Is it a normal Thanksgiving travel thing?
Airlines generally have flight plans that are automatically generated and filed with ATC daily. On days like Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years not many people fly so the airlines, months ago, canceled quite a few flights but the flight plans will still be generated and show up here.
Or all the controllers went home for some turkey.
