# Finally see balloons

That’s another Loon LLC balloon. ([https://loon.com/](https://loon.com/)) Interesting company. I saw one of their balloons on my station flying in SE NM and just barely into TX.

Who knew running PiAware would be this interesting?

I am tracking one today (for the first time, as far as I know) - but it is flying about 20 miles out over the Pacific Ocean, roughly west of Long Beach, WA. I wonder what the benefit would be to being out there?

See 3 now, 2 just west of Olympia and one off the coast
