Feed FA from FR24 Image

Hi all,

So i’ve been running the FR24 image on a Pi4 for a few months now. Setup includes readsb, tar1090, graphs1090 and a few other bits and pieces.

I’m trying to locate the instructions to setup FA from the FR24 image.

Could take a step back and install a fresh ubuntu image and everything from scratch but my system is up and running and available online (adsb.2e0veb.com) and really don’t fancy taking it down for that kind of update.

Is anyone able to direct me to an install option from the 24 image that won’t break anything else - or, for that matter, make any “better” suggestions?

Scroll down to “3 - Download and install piaware”, and follow instructions under this heading.

CAUTION: As you already have installed readsb, do NOT install dump1090-fa. It will break your setup. Install ONLY piaware

Brill, thanks! All done. Don’t know how i missed that but i tend to scoll through walls of text thinking “there’s a heading somewhere in here that will do it”.

All sorted and now waiting to be able to claim the instance.
