# error registration

good afternoon I have a problem when I checked out this error “The Service ‘[http://flightxml.flightaware.com/soap/FlightXML2/wsdl/\_vti\_bin/ListData.svc/$metadata](http://flightxml.flightaware.com/soap/FlightXML2/wsdl/_vti_bin/ListData.svc/%24metadata)’ at FlightXML2 requires a username and password.” as could fix it?

Your account (pruebas) does not have an API key yet. You must register for a FlightXML API key first: [flightaware.com/commercial/flightxml/key](https://flightaware.com/commercial/flightxml/key)

Additionally, that URL has garbage at the end of it. (“\_vti\_bin/ListData.svc/$metadata”) The URL of the WSDL is simply [flightxml.flightaware.com/soap/FlightXML2/op](http://flightxml.flightaware.com/soap/FlightXML2/op)
