Hi,
Does anyone know of something that can identify the nearest aircraft and display the info on a LED or similar display?
We live in a flight path and it would be cool to know what the aircraft are as they fly over.
Potentially could start manipulating the data using queries if you can catch it to somewhere for a short time. Unsure if the active .json can be used like that (someone else will know)
I do it with storing them into SQL then running select against current age/active data. Could adjust that to sort by distance/height.
Active ones have a separate table and after a timeout are considered aged so moved.
Bit of legwork to get there. But makes the world your virtual tracker website at home oyster.
