atlanta showing taxi delays due to disabled aircraft…anyone know what is going on or what happened
just talked to my last inbound from atlanta asq4193 , sorry can’t link from this computer…said they didn’t know anything
guess the faa making stuff up 
As random as it is, a friend was on a flight that was disabled at ATL. She doesn’t know much about aviation but she said that they were pushed back and started up the engines and began to taxi to whichever runway they were assigned. Then, the right engine started vibrating and was shut down and they called for a tug. The tug got out to the plane, hooked up, and then either had a maintenance issue or ran out of gas. So, they had to run two tugs out–one to tow the disabled plane and one to tow the disabled tug:) At least this all happened on the ground:)
