. . since the installation of an external preamp, I get a message something like “possibly no aircraft nearby, and I am trying a restart…” along with “no data being returned, not even keep alive, in 150 seconds.”
. . in each case a power reset resolves the problem. can I do this power reset from work, over the internet? is there something I can check that might tell me what is causing these upsets?
. . I am running a rasp pi, bought last year, with version 2.1-5 software, and an external preamp and filter. I changed the power supply to a much more capable unit after a problem with an overloaded wall wart, at the same time I installed the preamp.
