Hi I’m hoping you can provide me with some data transfer estimates. In order to right size our room internet connections our IT department would like an estimated data transfer rate for an active connection from the graphic map of your product in addition to periodically accessing other feature sets within the application. Can you please provide a rough estimate?

Network usage is entirely dependent upon how your application that uses our API is written and how frequently it chooses to refresh its data. An application can be written to refresh data for multiple dozens of airports multiple times per minute, or it can request data for only a single aircraft once per day. Both scenarios are very achievable and have very different levels of network usage.
