As far as I know this par for the course even during normal times. My alma mater utilized private United flights all the time for their bigger sports. I’d also see other schools utilize charters in and out of KACT all the time for games. It wouldn’t surprise me to see them using them more for other sports too now given the pandemic.
I think DL has always used a pair of 717s into AHN for Georgia game trips.
