Pilot Killed In Plane Crash On Martha’s Vineyard
WEST TISBURY (WBZ) ― A pilot was killed in a plane crash in Martha’s Vineyard, state police said.

The Cape Air flight crashed on Nip And Tuck Lane in West Tisbury around 8 p.m.

The pilot was the only person on board the plane.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

FlightAware KMVY unknown the flight number at this time.

FAA spokeswoman Holly Baker said the pilot was the only person aboard the Cessna 402 aircraft, Flight 1055. She said it went down at about 20:06 in West Tisbury shortly after departing Martha’s Vineyard Airport en route to Boston’s Logan Airport.
