Cancelled flight still shows up

I filed a flight plan last night but never made the flight due to weather.

FlightAware shows that I departed my scheduled airport and arrived at my scheduled destination 10 minutes later. It shows the current location of the plane at the destination airport.

How can this be, since the flight plan was never activated?

We received a departure message from Cleveland center, an ETA update (change of 100 minutes), and then a cancellation from Toronto center. Probably a mistake by ATC.
