Bug? - Automatic Redirects CA ---> CCA

I have noticed today that a few of the flights that I regularly monitor are being redirected to a different flight.

For instance, CA911
flightaware.com/live/flight/CA911
is now being redirected to the url
flightaware.com/live/flight/CCA911
and getting the message “FlightAware couldn’t find flight tracking data for CCA911 just yet.”

CA911 is still an active flight as seen by the flight it made today, April 22nd from CYXC to CYKA at 10:43 MDT.

I have not see this redirect problem until today and it makes it very difficult to track all the “CA” flights such as CA911, CA811, CA711 and CA611 since they are all being automatically redirected to a CCA URL.

Yes, that’s a new bug from our recent support for IATA airline codes. I’ll se what we can do about it.

I had several of those flights set as flight alerts. I have just made a change to one of them and I’m getting the error on my flight alerts page and an message is not being sent for one of the flights that didn’t have the problem above.

“Service Interruption
We’re sorry, but FlightAware has encountered an unrecoverable error and is unable to process your request at this time. Please wait a few moments and try your request again. If the problem persists, please contact us.
Error ID: n/a”

I am now unable to do any changes to my flight alerts due to the above error as none of the flights show up

I just wanted to pass on another bug I’ve stumbled across.

These are both fixed.

I am still not receiving flight alerts for any of my subscribed flights.
The flights I have alerts setup for are:
CA911
CA811
CA711
CA611
BXH454

The “Recent Alert Activity” does not show any emails being sent for these flights.

I tried deleting and then re-adding all the flights but alerts still are not being sent.

Thanks for looking into this.

Your alerts all require the flight to be both arriving and departing CYXC.
