Hi,
Atlasjet (Turkey) changed it’s name to Atlasglobal on the 1st April 2015 and as far as I am aware it still uses the KK/KKK airline codes. However, when searching for historic data by aircraft registration for this airline I am not able to see any data from 1st April, only prior to this. Is this a bug? If so could someone fix this please.

The name change of the operator would not affect our ability to track them, since the code has stayed the same. In fact, we are still tracking approximately the same number of KKK flights every day for the last few months. Do you have a specific example you were looking at?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Flightaware appears to be showing historical up to date tracking for this airline when searching by flight number, but not when searching using the ‘private flight (tail#)’ from the dropdown and searching the ‘aircraft tail #’. For example when trying to search for historical data for TC-ATK, it only shows data up until the 28th March, although this aircraft shows up later than this when searching under a flight number (i.e today on KKK35). Hope this makes sense.

Not all airlines provide their aircraft registration information to us, particularly for flights occurring outside of or primary coverage areas. That behavior is currently to be expected for that airline, however we are always in the process of attempting to add more data providers that will provide us with the missing parts of information that we are lacking. There may be some improvements in the coming months.
