Brattleboro?

I used to go to college in SE Vermont, near the town of Brattleboro. Now, I’ve always known about the Dillant-Hopkins Airport out in Keene, NH (which had commercial link service when I was in VT). But my memory is hazy, seeming to remewmber a private airport, probably unmanned, in or near the town of Brattleboro. Anyone know of such an airport? Did it shut down? Am I imagining it? What was it’s FAA or ICAO code?

airnav.com has a search feature that allows you to locate nearby airports.

Here’s the public and private airports within 20 miles of Brattleboro:
VT47 VERNON, VT MILLER’S PLEASURE AIRFIELD AIRPORT 4.5 nm S
VT06 PUTNEY, VT SANTA’S AIRPORT 9.9 nm NNE
2NH5 WESTMORELAND, NH PILGRIM’S HOME AIRFIELD AIRPORT 10.8 nm NE
VT43 TOWNSHEND, VT ONYON AIRPORT 10.9 nm NNW
NH39 WALPOLE, NH FRANK D. COMERFORD AIRPORT 12.3 nm NNE
EEN KEENE, NH DILLANT-HOPKINS AIRPORT 13.0 nm ENE
4V8 WEST DOVER, VT MOUNT SNOW AIRPORT 14.3 nm WNW
0B5 MONTAGUE, MA TURNERS FALLS AIRPORT 15.6 nm S

EEN, 4V8, and 0B5 are all public airports. The rest are private.

The search feature is located at airnav.com/airports/search.html

My guess would be Mt Snow:

The rest of the private fields Damiross listed are mostly for farms and orchards in the area and are nothing more than a patch of grass big enough to get an Agcat in and out of legally.

Actually, the airport in question was indeed a tiny little thing, seemingly without lights or tower or any such amenities.

According to the list above, I am not dreaming, and it was “Santa’s Airport” in Putney.
