Books

We’ve just been the recipients of a gentleman’s lifetime collection of 3,000 plus books, manuals and ephemera relating to aviation. Most are signed first editions, many dating back to the 30s and 40’s, and we are in the process of cataloging them as I type this. We have something from every author you could think of, from Antoine de Saint-Exupery to Lindbergh to Gann to Coonts and everyone in between.

As my wife won’t let me buy them and the museum doesn’t have room for them, we’re seeking expressions of interest from those who might consider purchasing some, or all, of them. Many of these will go for a dollar or less, but there are others that we would hope to sell for their true value of several hundred dollars. If anyone would like a copy of what’s been cataloged to date just drop me a PM or email and I’ll send you a copy of the spreadsheet.

Or, if there’s some special book you’ve been looking for but haven’t been able to find, let me know and I’ll check to see if we have a copy. But bear with me, we’ve only gotten approximately 250 books cataloged so far and there are boxes that haven’t even been opened yet!
