Happens anywhere Air Force 1 and Air Force 2 goes. You should have heard the chaos during the TFR at KLAS. The vPOTUS flew in to there for a meeting/fundraiser, then flew out on his way to KTUL.

Of course the airlines eat the cost. Just like any business that is affected by the IINMFIIBF*, IINMFIIBF2, and other presidents and politicians gets their money, why should they care who is financially affected?

I think the presidential TFRs are just one more outrageous response to 9/11, right along with the creation of the TSA.
Why does the president require a 30 mile protective ring? I can understand having some kind of restriction, but 30 miles? Obama recently shut airspace for over a 1/4 of the state of Iowa as he traveled on his bus tour. Amazingly, I did not hear of anyone violating the airspace during the MOVING TFR, although several dozen airports were affected.
