Been reading a lot and everything varies so much anymore. I want to bring my grandson out in June. So whats the best window for lowest price?
There’s a lot of “general” rules, all of which are constantly broken for a specific trip by various forces.
Try using google.com/flights they have a couple options to look at future prices and you can see where the low price is now.
Airlines (except for Southwest) loads inventory (schedules) into their reservations systems 11 months to the day before travel date. At this point 11 months in advance all discounted classes of service are available, and the seat map is wide open. Southwest loads their schedules 6 months in advance.
