Every time I post track of team charter aircraft on MLB Messge Boards . I come to be banned from posting again … Besides bashing from baseball fans who finds this hobby creepy among other stuff, it seems that MLB Security are sensitive for me to post this information ,so they banned me …It has happen again and again…If anybody is interested in finding out , just post on any MLB Team Flight Track of charter on there board and the next day you come up with th is “PROBLEM WITH PAGE” message…
Hey, we won’t ban you for posting that information.
The other baseball fans sound like idiots and the security people of MLB… well, let’s just say they are nothing but glorified rent-a-cops.
Yeah i had the same happen to me… They say that what we do is weird and stockerish… But when it comes time for them to track a flight cus theres going to fly on it or someone they know is flying or going to fly i get emails saying Hey remember me i’m so and so from such and such can you help me out… I just say sorry you’re on your own because i find it rude when you say one thing and later come back and ask for help with it…
I have a very simple solution to keep that from happening in the future… Stop posting the information! If they don’t want it, don’t put it there.
Excuse me buddy ,I understand where you are coming from ,buts its a public forum just like this one and I have read there rules for posting and no where it saids that we can't post aircraft tracking info on that board ..Its not profanity and its surly not spam .....Plus when they ban you ...they don't give you or me reason on why one got ban! The page just comes up PROBLEM WITH PAGE" .............................................Plus I am a die-hard Met Fan and I have the talent or interest to post vaulable information on my team ,why should other people that don't understand what we do should offend us personally
Isn’t the accessibility of this information violating the privacy of people traveling on private aircraft?
No. Three reasons:
The aircraft being displayed on FlightAware are operating in public airspace. They are arriving and departing from airports with their identification number painted on the aircraft. They are broadcasting their whereabouts and intentions on public radio frequencies. They are all using services provided by the United States federal government Accordingly, this information is completely public in many forms.
Aircraft owners have the option of blocking their identification from being released to the public.
Countless companies offer services and information identical to FlightAware for a subscription fee.
Without Internet flight tracking, an individual could simply listen to the appropriate frequencies to hear their tail number of interest’s next destination in the form of, “citation niner alpha mike, santa monica ground, you’re cleared to las vegas executive as filed . . .” In the case of an individual trying to determine the tail number of an individual that is known to be departing a certain airport for a particular destination, they already know where the individual is going so there is hardly any knowledge gained in that circumstance. Even easier, aircraft owner information is available on the FAA’s web site for search or download. If an individual doesn’t have an aviation radio receiver, ATC (air traffic control) frequencies are broadcasted on countless web sites for enthusiasts and many web sites even archive ATC conversations for web users to download at a later date.
The MLB forum is not a public space, it’s privately owned. Let it go!
Nice, speaking of getting owned
WHICH PART OF MY STATEMENT YOU DID NOT UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE READ THE GUILDLINES FOR POSTING AND NO WERE DID IT SAID WE CANNOT POST AIRCRAFT TRACKING! I CAN WRITE IN TWO MORE LANGUAGES IF YOU ASK ME TOO! BESIDES WHEN DID THE WEB GO PRIVATE ,TO MY KNOWLEDGE WE FANS FOOT THE BILL FOR THEM PLAYERS TO GET PAID AND THE OWNERS GET RICH! IF THEY DO NOT WANT THERE AIRCRAFT TRACK AND PUBLISH ON MESSAGE BOARDS THEM PAID THE FEE AND GET THE CHARTERS BLOCK! :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:
Let me just say that those idiots do not represent true baseball fans, with that in mind:
