Glad to hear everyone got out okay, but very sad to see a restored warbird in that condition.
Those pics literally brought a tear to my eye. 
Tough old bird, delivered her last crew alive before she bit the big one.
Word on the street is that the pilot was Bob Hill, pilot examiner with the FAA

Actually, it didn’t crash… It was a controlled landing by a very skilled flight crew…
Kudos to the crew, and if the aircraft hadn’t been consumed by fire it was probably salvageable.
