At least on the flights I am looking at from San Juan, PR to Chicago on 737s, AA is selling the 16 first class seats as business class and not offering first class. This is a 5 hour flight, what would be the difference between business and standard first? and why is it that way? thanks for the help.
On a B737, I am guessing the first class might be the same as business class on their widebody jets…maybe wider seat, more legroom, and better reclining and that’s about it.
It’s just the fare class they’re electing to sell the seat in. It’s exactly the same as domestic first on a 737.
Like others have said, it’s pretty much the same as domestic first. I did ORD to SJU (AA) on a 757 once. It was just like first in the US.
