Is dump1090-fa v5 doing additional error correction on that input relative to v4.0 or is the slight reported increase in processor load due to other factors?
Same for me, no noticable increase in CPU but a significant decrease in memory utilization
Only if it was so easy to update under the the Ubuntu AMD64…
After upgrading I can’t open ip address on the PI or on my laptop. I can ssh in and it is connected to all the providers. Just no TAR10190 or Skyaware or Graphs 1090.
Ideas?

Hmmm, after update, I can’t see any planes on the /tar1090 and the :8080 is not working
Funny, even from the Flightfeeder I can’t see the :8080 or /Skyaware pages
Known issue discussed in 2 other threads.
Update tar1090 to fix.
(unfortunate interaction of lighttpd configuration and FA changing port 8080 to give /skyaware instead of /dump1090-fa … a bit complicated to explain in detail)
Well, that’s output from a binary-only build, I’m not sure what you were expecting.

It is doing more, but in the case where the demodulator is somewhere else (i.e. airspy_adsb), the increase in cpu in dump1090 itself should be tiny.
(The increase in CPU when dump1090 is doing the demodulation is because dump1090’s demodulator does a lot of speculative decoding of messages that turn out to be junk and get discarded, so the increased cost of trying to decode each message adds up a lot more)

I didn’t see that message in my previous builds of dump1090 for AMD64, that’s all.
However, with the new update, the FA website (My ADSB) shows all green, but the local webpages of Ubuntu add-in has no planes shown.
Also the Flighfeeder webpage cannot be reached anymore at :8080

FlightFeeders aren’t on 5.0 yet, nothing has changed there. I can fetch the page on your FF on port 8080 correctly. I see no external connection attempts to port 8080 on your FF since it last rebooted (~2 weeks).
I have also problem with version 5.0, to change my local older IP adress and than feed flightradar24.
0 plane…So FlightAware show it, but FlightRadar not…Any idea please?

I reinstalled all, I have key…so it is ok, but they change my key on FlightAware…
Now FlightRadar24 cannot see USB stick…
