Amerijet 727 KBOS to KBOS

Anyone know the story behind this flight?

It was scheduled to depart, and apparently actually did. We don’t usually see Amerijet in KBOS – and why would it be flying back to its departure airport?

Seeing as it’s last flight was about a month ago, my guess would be there was something wrong with it and it was a test flight.
