Well this is something I wasn’t quite expecting.
Looks like MKE was getting hammered by storms, so they diverted to BMI of all places. But, instead of waiting out the storms there, they finally decided to just refuel and continue onto the next segment of the flight, to SAN, after waiting at BMI well over 4 hours. They must have a pretty good passenger load continuing on to SAN since they didn’t cancel the flight altogether.
