Today I was reading a news article about an aircraft mishap. At the bottom of the article they had a link to FlightAware (this is how I found out about FlightAware) and it brought up the Airborne Position Activity from take off to the point of mishap. I picked a randem flight and tried to find the Airborne Position Activity, but was unable. Is this something that goes with a paid subscription or am I missing something?
On most flight pages (if a flight occured in the last few days or is currently occuring) you can click the “Enroute” or “tracklog” text in the Status box to see that page.
Boyle, unless you are in the aviation industry and need the commercial services of FlightAware, there is no such thing as a “paid subscription”. Isn’t that great?
