Aerial location

Hi

Long time lurker first time posting. I live in the UK rented accommodation (house). I cannot attach a flighfeeder Ariel to the chimney stack. Would the fence in the garden be sufficient?

Well, a lot of people (have to) put their piaware feeders and antenna I nside and still receive a lot planes. I would guess putting it high up like in an attic is more important than being outside, but who knows?

With regards to the flightfeeder you can apply for, I guess they expect you to put outside on a higher building, unless you live in area with very low coverage.

No amount of guide or advise or tutorial will make a person learn swimming, unless he jumps in the water… Install your antenna at different possible locations, run your receiver at each location for a day or two, and compare results.
