As a result, I expected better coverage or range.
The FA filter works but it’s relatively expensive in Europe.
It’s usually better to just get a filtered LNA like the uputronics for 1090 MHz.
There is also the rtl-sdr 1090 filtered LNA but it requires a bias-t.
You should check what your terrain allows in regards to range.
