I noticed on FA that some aircraft are designated A388 (A380 - 800 series) and some have the L suffix. I believe there are longer range versions in the works (that could make the SYD DFW route viable although not sure about DFW - SYD).
Can anybody tell me the difference or confirm the amount of additional range.
