just wondering how much length of runway does a 747 need to take off and land with a full load
Wow I watched Air Force 1 land at KTRI when Bush was campaigning. The link above says it needs a 9250’ runway, runway 5-23 is 8000’
Typical executive configs aren’t flying around at full load.
Yes AF1 normally is pretty light. Last time at MSY it used about half of 28 (approx 5000 feet).
It has also landed on 19 before and that runway is 7000 feet.
