It was flying from VRB 350WF

Perhaps some MX work at the Piper Factory? Hmmm

It’s registered to a St. Louis biz though and most of it’s flight history is centered around that area.

What are the chances a plane landing at CPS would crash into a hangar at another nearby airport?

Yeah no kidding.

This is about 80NM south of me. I did my instrument at KALN, and did alot of approaches at CPS and BLV as well as the smaller 3K6. I had no idea this airpark existed.

With so much media coverage these days, the fact that it was an ‘airport’ instead of a house in some random neighborhood, is probably the best scenario. With the DHC-8 in Buffalo last year, and the very recent IRS building attack, another building strike would probably be yet another black eye.

Very sad, it’s an even worse feeling when it’s that close to home!
