 Post subject: Is Reason for Cancellation Available?

First post, I appreciate the info provided here. I assumed that when a flight was cancelled, that the reason (weather, mechanical, etc.) would be indicated somewhere, but I can't find it. Is this information available and if so, where do I look?

At my company, this information is not made public (aka not posted on the website). I've seen flights cancelled due to weather but in reality there was no crew to operate the flight. Just another way to not pay for hotels for customers. I've also seen cancellation reasons change. At the time of the cancellation, it may say WX then the next morning it will say MX.
