Some people does not configure location maybe that can be done automatically by IP address
IP geolocation doesn’t give sufficient accuracy for mlat; we really need a correct location to within <50 meters for mlat and geolocation is lucky if it picks the right city…
For other purposes, FA already estimates the location based on the aircraft positions seen, which is probably at least as good as IP geolocation.
