Did any one else see that 727-100 in MIA Late Fri night?

What a bunch of unprofessional idiots. Making the ilegal u-turn on the taxi-way, being yelled at by ground control, it goes on and on.

Who are these clue-less buffoons???????

That was a charter that I brokered last Friday night. They were flying auto parts from LRD into MIA. I knew there was nobody at Cargo Services to marshall them in. Where were you when you saw them?

I know who they are...............I saw them to, the entire cargo city was laughing at them. Especially when they made the U-turn and ended up nose-to-nose with the DC-10 that was taxiing behind them.

The Company is called IFL Group out of KPTK, but that 727 is operated by there red headed bastard affiliate company called Southwind Airlines based in KPIL.

The Captain had to be one two people: 1. Bob "the alcholic" Steenbock or 2. Bob "I wish we were still flying 24 cylinder radials" Harper. They are both stuck in the WWII Era, they operate there business with a Third World mentality. They are constantly trying to hide there incompetance using different names---Southwind Airlines, Auto Air, Hanger 10 Productions.......blah blah blah. They actually use about 7 different names.

They are an embarasement to any "real" 121 operation, and an embaracement to HONEST pilots!!!!!

Besides the embarrassment of not being able to spell "embarrassment" correctly, what proof do you have of this? I'm not defending these people nor do I even know them. It's just that if you make accusations like this you need to either indicate that it's your opinion or it is based on actual facts. For all I know you are a disgruntled ex-employee of the company.

I'm an ex employee of Southwind Airlines---I have no idea who LuuLuu or damiross are, but LuuLuu's discription of the "Bobs" is very acurate. Those statements that he/she made are not an opinions, it is actual facts. They have a reputation for being dishonest with the aviation related companies that they do business with. Even the IFL
Group -Who owns all there airplanes.

I remember a few years back when they had a flight school and stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from prospective students. They took the poor kids money then shut the school down and ended up having a class action law suit filed against Bob Steenbock and Bob Harper. They have done much more than that. I hate to say this, but I am actually impressed that they managed to keep themselves out of jail over the years.

But there most shamefull deed of all is when the lie to and steal from there pilots. They fly right besides these pilots, Have them over to there homes for dinner, invite them to there paties, constantly telling them how there all considered one big happy family. Then--they will look these same pilots in there face and bluntly lie to them and steal money from there paychecks and refuse to pay them for work they are forced to do.

Overall, the pilot group are goods guys. Except for one--That would be you J*n Y**n

Funny how all three posters are new to this forum, each with only 1 post to their credit. Hopefully this topic will be locked.

You should be using "their,", not "there."

Again, what evidence do you have for this? News articles? Personal experience? If there is a suit against them, then what court is it in? In other words, evidence that can prove this. I don't know who you are, either, so why should I accept what you say at face value?

No, I'm not related to Southwind in any manner.

Thank you for correcting my grammar Professor Damiross.

Damiross-Come on man, who do you think your trying to bullshit. You are affiliated with them. If you were not, you wouldn't be so passionate about trying to un-blemish thier reputations for being criminals.

The "Bobs" are two of the most unethical, deceitful, racketeering people in the business.

He's passionate about a lot of things, and nitpicking apart people's posts is just part of it. Anyone can say "he's a scumbag, unethical yadda yadda" but where's the proof? He may be a crazy Californian nudist, but he's not affiliated with these guys in Florida.

My only association with aviation in a professional manner was with the Hawaii Army National Guard as a flight dispatcher in the early 1980s.

My reason for getting on you about this is because I want truth backed up with facts, not opinion. As soon as you said you are an ex-employee of Southwind, I thought "disgruntled."

Like I said, if you can give me other evidence, I'll believe you. Otherwise, I'll just take what you said with a grain of salt.

This is an interesting discussion I started.

It wasn't intended to be a bashing session. But if they are truly that bad, then I'm happy that one of the many bad apples in this industry has been exposed.

Damiross, you have my respect for being in the National Guard. But, if thats you r only professional experience in aviation, then by no means whats so ever are you qualified to try and chastise or play devil's advocate with me. I'm not going to waste my time responding to you again.

Go out and get a few years under your belt as a pilot with a 121 or 135 carrier, PAX or cargo. Go experience what a pilot goes thru in dealing with the idiot ramp personnel, ATC, managers, etc. ( especially with people like the two scum bag owners of Southwind Airlines ) and ONLY then will you'll have a leg to stand on.

And by the way, who died and made you king of this forum. The tone of your responses seem to indicate that you believe all the users owe you explanations and proof for anything they say--- Dude, get over yourself--your were a Dispatcher and that was over 25 years ago.

Should we take that as a "No" to the request for you to produce proof?

Nice tale, although it should probably begin "Once upon a time...".

If they're truly that evil and you're privy to the inside dope, drop a dime on them to the IRS. Could earn you a nice reward.

You need to look at the little number under your name after 'posts'. All 4 of yours have been in this 1 topic and ALL have had spelling errors (as did all the others doing the bashing. Coincidence?) Dami has a bit over 2,100... and he actually makes EDUCATED points in other forums with a purpose. Have you even read the other topics? Show a little respect. Calm down. No one's trying to prove you wrong- We're just asking- If what is being said is true it can be proven by more than just stories, right??

Jeez, no wonder you got fired... So angry...

The number of posts is only an indicator of quantity of contributions, not quality. Believe it or not, many of us don't need a resident grammarian to point out the flaws in other's posts, to tell us which are important, which are in the wrong forum, what the correct subject title should be, etc. etc.
