Can anyone tell me under which circumstances the aircraft in this fleet operate under the FLEXJET call sign versus the SOLUTIONS call sign. The fleet appears to be the same for both, so I'm wondering why the two different ATC calls.

There is a thread about it from December 2013 in the request and idea section of the forum that should answer your question, started by one of their pilots.

Thanks rwb. Not quite on topic, but from the gist it looks like BJS "Solutions" is the part 135 operation, so I guess that makes LXJ "Flexjet" the part 91 (K?) operation.

Same crews, same airplanes. I do hear the pilots mixing up their call signs quite often on ATC.

This is correct, however Jet Solutions today is no longer used. Flexjet is the call sign for all trips now.
