Really wasn't expecting to see that it came off a Challenger. I read the headline expecting to see a Skyhawk door laying in a sandtrap. Lol. Thats a big heavy door, glad nobody got hurt.

It looks surprisingly intact. I remember one that fell off in Aspen several years ago that was brought to our shop. It was pretty flat. The door actually flew downward and struck the forward fuselage fairing on the RH side of the aircraft as it departed.
