This route has been normally , switched on and off with the 777,A320. ans 757.
Does anyone know why the 777 would do such short distance route?http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UAL987/history/20120521/1439Z/KDEN/KORD

More than likely preposition for a long haul out of Denver. Airlines will sometimes use a
short route to reassign an aircraft.
