Really? Do they change logos or something, or just leave it?

The right side has the Stars logo & Name, the left has the Rangers logo & name.

Photos from airliners.net

However, if Hicks sells the Rangers(likely, since he's broke as a joke) then the plane will probably be sold too, unless the new owners work a deal(unlikely). The Stars may find themselves back on N698SS.

Let's go Stars.

I haven't thumbed through the whole thread, but Nashville is flying Miami Air International now. The Midwest Airlines stuff, well we all know what happened to that airline, is unfortunatly not in place here anymore. Man I loved the inside of their MD80 when it was in Predators colors too!!!!! I have a bunch of pics from a tour of it.

Is this a normal drop in altitude or could something be wrong? From 38,000 at 3:57pm to 28,000 at 4:03pm and the Senators are only half way here.

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/ACA7 ... L/tracklog

Now down to 24,000.

Could be an equipment failure related to the altitude and autopilot equipment needed to fly in RVSM airspace (between 29,000 and 41,000 feet). At these altitudes you fly at reduced vertical separations (1,000 feet instead of the previous 2,000 feet) and this requires special aircraft equipment to fly at and maintain the assigned altitude including a working autopilot. If any of that equipment fails, you must descend below RVSM altitudes until the necessary minimum equipment is fixed.

Dallas Stars are back on a 727. They're likely splitting time between N698SS and N615PA. No word on whether it still has the devils logo on the tail or not.

N757SS made a few trips but has since gone to Georgia and parked.

I imagine Hicks' financial troubles and the pending sale of the Rangers had something to do with it. Anybody know if the 757 is up for sale or is it in for a C or D check?

71Zulu, 1st off, your flights for Toronto are wrong. They are using 7045 and 7046 this year(I'm double checking everything to save myself time when I'm traveling from city to city).

2nd--No I don't know who the Coyotes are using this year, I just know that the flight is blocked and Rangers have their own plane which is number N37NY. Go back to page 2 and look at what I had listed last year. Anybody who was flying Miami Air(BSK) is on the same flight number except it's now 300 instead of 600(which you already listed for most).

3rd--Also wanted to state that anybody flying the Swift(SWQ) flights, there are 3 flight numbers used--737, 801, or 802. These flights are used by NHL and NBA teams. Colorado Avalanche also fly Swift.

Edit: Florida Panthers are on same flight as last year---Miami Air 394

Edit again(sorry): Looks like Chicago Blackhawks are also flying swift this year as they have a flight scheduled home after the game in Detroit tonight.

Anyone catch the hawks leaving kmdw?
to kphx.... all the swq flights that they use seem to be being used by other teams? Anyone know what Chicago Blackhawks are flying for trip to AZ ?

You'd probably have to wait until tomorrow to figure it out. I've realized that team flights aren't usually scheduled until that day. (Especially after the game -- the flight doesn't show up on the scheduled departure list until after the game's over.)

Yep I know, but they have been off at home since sat, the chicago news said they were flying in early to relax and golf, so thought they would be due in today, thanks...

I can't find that either. They were on Swift earlier now can't find them.

UPDATE: OK, found out on another board that Blackhawks had a "Father's Day" trip for PHX and took their Dads along. Not enough room on the Swift 734 so they took an AA MD82 for this trip only.

N977UA (Blocked San Jose Sharks) is parked at the Signature ramp @ KDSM. Likely making some charter revenue while the teams break for the Olympics. Wishful thinking: The team brass is in town to negotiate an affiliation to revive the suspended Iowa Chops AHL franchise...

Let me one up you on the wish list, (and this is coming from a die hard Blues/Rivermen fan by the way)... The Chops franchise will turn down SJC's request, as they pull the Stars affiliation from Austin, and re-relocate it to DSM again, and then rebrand it, (in complete 1986 jersey and all) to the Des Moines North Stars!
Creating a trend which gives you the Colorado Nordiques (ironic I know), the Phoenix Jets, and my other favorite, the Carolina Whalers!

Stars are back on N757SS. Hicks must have gotten current on his payments and gotten it out of hock.

They flew back on their normal 397,

564 might have just been a one time deal for some reason.
