I saw a large WWII-era transport/bomber aircraft over Arlington, TX at approximately 10:46-10:48 today. It was heading E or ENE. Had a vertical stabilizer like that of a B-17 or a B-29. I could only make out one prop on the left wing (the wing I could see) but there could have been two on each. I got some shots of it from my dash camera but I don’t know if they’ll help any. Anybody happen to know what this was?
Appears to be a B-29
That’s what I thought though it didn’t look sliver in the sky–of course that could have been because of the sun’s angle. I guess it would have been FIFI, which makes sense considering that it’s based at Meacham Field.
