See now. It wasn't that hard to spell it out, was it? (Couldn't resist - I hate these stupid ass chat abbreviations unless preceded by an explanation.)

In answer to your question, do you know which operator might be the Sears on Ice (SOI) plane? Where did the SOI perform prior to Vancouver? Answering one or both of these questions can help in locating the aircraft. Of course, that assumes the SOI plane wasn't blocked.

SOI previously performed in Victoria (and before that it was Calgary). I have no idea which operator they've been using though :(

This SHOULD be the plane they are flying in:

It's possible they may have flown to Victoria. However, I didn't see anything that appeared to be charters from Calgary to Victoria on or before May 11 (the date of the show in Victoria).

They could have flown on a scheduled flight into Victoria. They may have even taken a bus between the two cities.

thank you and besides, what is ice?

I was going to make a smart remark about taking the bus to Victoria, but the buses can get on the ferry so I decided to save said remark for later.

OK, had to look it up. Ice show with Sears as the major sponsor.
There is a contest for seats on WestJet so I imagine they are involved somehow.

AT&Ts newest Falcon 7x, probably wont be able to track it for long.
N906SB was previously a Falcon 50.

Stars on Ice used to use 3 or 4 of the big entertainer Prevost buses.
I doubt that they were flying around in a charter jet but maybe times have changed.

Here's another unusual path, a 787 is over Alaska right now.

Most Boeing test flights are labelled like that. looks like a test flight to and from Boeing Field.

I've seen most to and from Boeing Field over WA or the Pacific but this is the first one I've seen over the Arctic...or so it seems.

Edit: found an article. It is going to the North Pole and back.

They use them for general transportation too so could be just that.
Last time I went out by the FBO's at MSY, there was one parked at Signature Aviation.

Yes, we have NASA T38s up at CYHU as well. They are used by astronauts for transportation. In our case it is usually for visits to the Canadian Space Agency facility at CYHU. They run a sort of "Houston North" facility there.
Noisy starting up the 38s with the air starts! But a lot of fun! :D

I haven't seen Buzz up north.
The aircraft are allocated on a request basis, and so there is no tail number allocated to any one astronaut. A first come first served on availability.
