Does the United States Postal Service operate any aircraft? Is there a fleet abbreviation, (like UAL; FFT, etc)?
No. They place the mail on commercial (cargo and pax) airlines.

USPS had dedicated cargo planes painted in their colors in the 90’s and early 2000’s, but they were owned and operated by Ryan International.
