How about adding an overlay option on the flight tracking map that shows the** Great Circle between the origin and destination airports**? Should be easy to do. Airport lat-longs are already determined and a number of great circle calculators are available. Make the option an overlay so the user can view when desired. This would be especially interesting to anyone following long, multi-hour intercontinental flights like Europe, Middle East or Asia to/from North America.
