I noticed while updating my account profile info that I was asked if I was a pilot and what rating I have. How about making it more inclusive by asking if we have any certification from the FAA ? Other than pilot, there is also ATC, Dispatch, Airframe , Powerplant. Just a thought. I love this site and enjoy the weekly e-mails I recieve but I was a little put off when it appeared that only the site only cares if I am a pilot.
I recognize that pilots are front and center when it come to aviation but there is more to any flight than the crew in the cockpit. For example, whenever there is an incident the top three questions are: Was it pilot error? A mechanical issue or did ATC give bad direction?
