I'll make this a two for one posting. For the record, I know one of the staff members (we talk somewhat frequently on Facebook and I proposed these suggestions, but I just wanted to make them formal.
I had played with Flight Aware before, but actually USED it for real earlier this week. So I have a new perspective. It is a beautiful, accurate wonderful site. I was meeting a friend at JFK who had a layover; I wasn't actually flying.
My suggestions: The weather app on the side should have the ability to have either more cities and/or select which cities you want to be displayed. This wasn't an issue for me, but it might be for other users.
My other suggestion is to have directions to/from the airport. Perhaps you can integrate Google or HopStop directions so it's an accurate and verified method of transport.
I know in time this site will grow and flourish and in the future, I'd like to see these.
