A few of us were talking about the app at our airport, and we all disliked how the Android App displays flights that are enroute to our airport. The app will show the aircraft is airborne and enroute, no matter which leg it is flying. For example using our airport, MCW. If aircraft Nxxxx is scheduled to fly ORD → DSM → MCW and is airborne on the ORD → DSM leg, it will show up as enroute on the MCW airport screen in the app, not just the scheduled leg to MCW. This sometimes causes confusion unless you pay attention to the airports it is flying between.
This also happens on the other tabs as well. If a certain ID shows up on any of the tabs, it will show its current flight, instead of the relevant flight for that tab.
This is the only one I could find currently. This is the arrived screen for MCW, but you can see N579M, which was an aircraft that had arrived, is showing the information for its next scheduled flight instead of the times for the MCW leg.
The biggest time this becomes an issue is when looking at the enroute screen, as it may look like an aircraft is on its way here, but its actually enroute on a different trip, and should only be showing as scheduled for our airport. At least that is the way we think it would work best, much like the website.
