My only association with aviation in a professional manner was with the Hawaii Army National Guard as a flight dispatcher in the early 1980s.
Damiross, you have my respect for being in the National Guard. But, if thats you r
only professional experience in aviation, then by
no means whats so ever are you qualified to try and chastise or play devil's advocate with me. I'm not going to waste my time responding to you again.
Go out and get a few years under your belt as a pilot with a 121 or 135 carrier, PAX or cargo. Go experience what a pilot goes thru in dealing with the idiot ramp personnel, ATC, managers, etc. ( especially with people like the two scum bag owners of Southwind Airlines ) and
ONLY then will you'll have a leg to stand on.
And by the way, who died and made you king of this forum. The tone of your responses seem to indicate that you believe all the users owe you explanations and proof for anything they say--- Dude, get over yourself--your
were a Dispatcher and that was over 25 years ago.
LUULUU----PM me
I am not sure of how this thread got reborn, but I read your post and laughed. Idiot ramp personnel? Let me tell you something, when Mickey mouse airlines roll a charter on a ramp hours late, pissing oil on the ramp, dumb ass engineers transfering fuel into full tanks and spilling jet A all over...THEN for an encore bouncing the capt. check used to pay for the flight, coming back in and doing another charter, trying to pay with a credit card that is no good. I LOVED dealing with capt.'s like you. For all I cared, you could sit in your left seat and stew 'til I was damn good and ready to push your beer can out to leave. So before your 4 bars continue to cut the oxygen to your brain, go get on with a real airline and maybe then you'd see some better attitude from the people on the ground you look down at.
For the record I have 16 years on the ramp with both airline and contract companies...I'm sure I have dealt with plenty dumb ass no name capt. like you in the past.
