I’m tired of people that use their ass for a brain.

I have a pretty comprehensive database which tracks the histories of almost every Goose ever built - and there is no indication that N119AA (now N121SR, Grumman G-21A Goose s/n 1084, which was built in August 1940) was ever owned by Maureen O’Hara, or even more likely by her husband Charlie Blair’s airline, Antilles Air Boats Inc. of St. Croix, USVI, of which she became the president after his death in 1978.

Its previous registrations include its original registration as NC28635, as VP-BAL in the Bahamas, as N86639 back in Miami, and as HK-2058 in Colombia for about 30 years (from 1977 until 2007.)

It is currently owned by a guy in New Smyrna Beach, FL who served time in the late 1980’s for smuggling drugs in an airplane. Go figure! They “let” him buy a heavy-duty amphibian that can go - and land - just about anywhere in FL or the Caribbean while carrying a pretty decent payload…
