Bad times for WN athough didn’t see this one on the news

Could have sworn it was discussed here. I guess I was just thinking about the comments on AvHearld. Tail strike with relatively calm winds? Not good no matter how you slice it.

ATDB reporting that this aircraft will be parted out and scrapped.

Must be some serious damage, not even two years old, delivered 12/12/12.

Three hull losses now for WN, one of each model except the -500.

Have a link to that report?

BL.

I don’t but it’s showing up here as historical

aerotransport.org/php/go.php … t+Airlines

and also at rzjets as written off

rzjets.net/operators/?show=1222

Perfect. Thanks. wanted to reference those on the thread about this at LiveATC.

Well I guess ATDB got some bad info.

Rob Hahn with Southwest has confirmed that this aircraft is being repaired
and will return to service in the coming weeks.

Wonder how ATDB got this one wrong?

N8327A flew from PAE to LAS this morning.

Hate make any more predictions but I guess it’s fixed. :stuck_out_tongue:

Or fixed to ferryable status and is in the great north woods for major repairs.

Looks like they fixed it for good,

Flightradar shows it flying SWA531
