Immediately upon landing, a helicopter begins to shake violently out of control which causes it to break apart.

Classic case of ground resonance. Only 3 things you can do. Shut it down, get it back in the air, or sit and pray.

Sit and pray must not have worked.

We don't know that he didn't. The soundtrack was added after the fact and doesn't correspond to the actual events in the video.
