Will the A320 series aircraft coming from US Airways be retrofitted with the new interiors that American is putting in its new A319s/A321s? I am assuming this would be quite an undertaking, would only the newer aircraft would be retrofitted?
It took years for the AWE and US interiors to resemble each other. You can still tell the difference on East metal vs West metal without looking at the reg.
Yes, there will be a common interior, but that is a long, long, LONG way off. There’s 1000 things to do on the merger and that’s like number 814… BTW, it hasn’t even officially begun as of yet…
