I noticed that VRS was running very slowly and taking a long time to start or shut down. I found that BaseStation.sqb had grown to almost 160 megabytes. I downloaded a newer version (I guess it was about 16 megs) and VRS ran quickly again. I use the Database Writer plugin with updates enabled. It seems that the database grows and grows, but nothing ever gets purged. Do you download a fresh copy occasionally? Do you also see the server slow down when the database gets large?
I never shut it down so I guess I wouldn’t notice. It runs on a VM in my data center so there’s no reason to ever shut it down. Guess I should look at it.
